Get my 1.4TDi SE in 2 weeks !

Post by pwafer »

Hi guys,

Just joined the forum as I become a Polo newbie in a couple of weeks.

Any hints and tips for the 6N2 1.4TDi engine ?

Hope to add as much as I get to this forum... seem a good bunch in here.

Paul

Thanks, glad to be a member (or is that tool  )

Good to hear it mate, it has some impressive midrange pull for such a tiny engine, have owned 1.9TDi's in the passed and thought the 3-pot 1.4 was going to be a bit magoo like.

What sort of hp have people got out of it? stock is 75bhp

Good choice 8)

i was driving my mums se tdi before i got my own GT. i took it to the uk-polos rolling road where it made 78.8 bhp and 141.9 ibft of torque. totally standard.

its a rapid car that can surprise some bigger engined vehicles!
