engine cutting out

HI, I am just about to buy a polo 1.4 cl, the only problem is the engine tries to cut out when it is cold, once it has warmed up it is not a problem, has anyone got any ideas ? Cheers

Dirty TB, ignition timing out, sparks, dizzy cao, rotor arm, ht leads, any of them etc... theres alot around the mk4 section check it out
