Hi, after 20 years of company cars, borrowing my wife's car or riding my motorbike I've just purchased my 1st car!
It's a 2000 1.9 SDI in blue that's been named Doris by my 9 year old.
The car didn't come with an owners manual so I have a few questions that hopefully someone here may be able to answer for me (Please)
1. How do you set the clock?
2. How do you reset the trip meter?
3. Doris has only got the standard radio/cassette fitted - How difficult is it to remove and replace?
Many thanks

Re: New 1.9D Owner
Hi & welcome.
To reset the trip you hold down the button at the bottom of the dial surround and i'm sure the clock is the same, but on the clock side.
The stereo is very easy to replace. Just require the two keys to remove & most brand stereos come with an adaptor to wire straight in or if they dont halfrauds sell them.

Many thanks for the replies - while waiting for the train this morning (don't ask) I found the trip reset button (well hidden) but will look for the clock one when I get back to the car later.
lolhoward - I've been following your mods thread and your have a great looking car there!
Thanks again.

Re: New 1.9D Owner
Just thought I would post an update.
The button's to set the time and reset the trips are well hidden and are actually part of the plastic case around each clock.
To reset the trip, if you examine the plastic case, there are 8 black holes, the trip reset is the button is at the 6 o'clock position, it looks slightly different to the other 'holes' - just press and hold to reset the trip.
To set the clock, there are 2 buttons used, theses are in the 7 o'clock (set's the hour) and 5 o'clock (set's the minute) positions.
