I had to change the main headlight bulb today. Once I removed the black cover from the back, I noticed the reflector was wobbly. I've read this is a common problem and that the adjuster has probably broken. Once I Clip the black cover back on it seems to hold the reflector steady again. I had not previously noticed the beam shifting while driving at any point. Just how out of alignment it is now and whether or not it's going to wobble while driving, will not be apparant until I drive home this evening.
I've looked at the unit as best I can but I can't actually see what has broken - anybody got any photos of what I am looking for?
Is there a repair kit available, to save me from shelling out on a new unit?
Thanks in advance
Marc

Re: Headlight reflector wobbly after changing bulb!
I had exactly this problem, which it failed its MOT for as they couldnt adjust the lights, its a tiny little plastic braket thats broken, 99% sure there isn't a way of repairing it, i had to buy 2 new lights. About £35 each, but i would recomend official VW ones, they are double the price, but the copy ones aren't as good quality for sure.
