BASE PLATES!!!

hey people, i'm after new mirrors for my polo, was thinking the textbook lupo or mk5 ones- i've got aftermarket DTM's on at the moment and sold my mirrors to another VeeDubber, my question is are the base plates for lupo's and mk5 polo's the same as our mark 4 ones? also, has anyone ever tried fitting mk4 golf mirrors on? think they would suit the way my car is goin alot better, but can it be done?

ive got Mk5 polo stubby mirrors on mine, english passanger side and german etc drivers side, im sure there the same shape as the lp and i know people fit mk5 stubby mirrors to mk4 golfs so cant se why they wouldnt fit, theyd be a bit big though?

Yeh Lupos are the same golf ones would be far far too big IMO.

Mk5 Stubbys are the way forward IMO, sadly with scene tax they go for over £100 for a pair

kk, so to confirm then, if i buy either lupo mirrors or mk5 mirrors, the base plates for both of them will fit my mk4?
