9n3 Air Filter

Post by Joe_9n3 »

Hi Everyone,

Im new to the site, had to change from my Citroen c2 to a VW after much stick from a friend of mine! Just purchased a black 5dr (Sorry!) 9n3. I am looking to buy an air filter initially, but having trouble finding one... Its only a 1.2 as I need to save some dollar on insurance!

Does anyone know wether you can get an air filter to fit this model and spec?! Or wether any other air filter will fit?!

Apreciate any help I can get!!

Thanks,

Joe

They do make them mate i was in your position few months back since then upgraded to a 1.6
but you have to take the plastic cover off and then mount the cone with a 90degree adapter or just mount it straight on the intake. i didnt have a 'make' of air filter on mine just an unbranded cheap one but made one hell of a roar! so said it was like and exhuast at higher revs :P i was happy. thats if you want a cone filter. panel filter then you shouldnt find it hard to find! KnN do one.

the induction kit wont really increase bhp or torque at all, it will just give it a monster of a sound. go for a cheap universal air filter!
