What to do with my steelies?

Post by Dan 6N »

Hi guys,
Soon after I bought my Polo I sprayed the wheels black and just put some center caps on them aiming to eventually buy some alloys. I still aim to get alloys some day but at the moment I have no money and I'm getting bored of their look. I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions as to what I could do with them to make them a little more exciting without spending much money. Or even if anyone knows of some wheel trims that look half decent..
Here's how the wheels are looking at the moment (I know she needs lowering as well, she was parked on a hill though which makes the gap look even huger lol):

Any suggestions would be appreciated,
Cheers,
Dan

Ok, not a bad idea, I might give that a go.
Does anyone have any pictures of 6n's running steelies for a bit of inspiration?

Mmmm, love those Wellers.
I'm thinking about doing them white, getting rid of the center caps and getting some chrome wheel nuts. Then slam it on it's ass :P

im currently running standard black steelies with black centre caps, they wernt done very well in the first place so dont look very good at all.
white would be quite original though wish i had the balls to have a go white on white lol
ive got some 14"mk2 golf steelies to hav refurb in a gloss black and then with some spacing should be good.
