got my car in at the garage getting my front n/s wheel bearing done, just had a call to say the "casing" for the bearing is buggered so they need to order one costing £50.
Your thoughts, is this right potentially?

Re: Wheel bearing casing?
They can warp with a severe impact, but can also wear too, which will cause excessive play in the bearing itself, so the only way to fix it is new housing and new bearing.
