All cars have their faults. I'll struggle when it comes to passing on my 6n. I would def buy another too.

Welcome to the scene.

All motors have faults and it all depends on what you get your hands on. I've had a 6n 1.4 8v which i've never had to spend £££ on apart from servicing

However, the 1.4 16v I got now did come with hidden issues slowing showing up more and more. However, I've now got it looking sweet and because I love it so much i've probably spent around £2700 on maintenance alone  god knows how much when I include the modding too!

So now its perfect and i've not had any problems since I got the work done. Furthermore, in that market at that age and price figure i'd have to say polo's are the best to consider.

I'm currently trying to sell up though just because i'm getting older and badly want a mk2 Golf GTi or a Corrado. However, my polo still puts a smile on my face and I love taking it for a drive cruising with the big boys. Not the hottest of hatches but it is very nippy standard and never fails to shock the big boys when it manages to stay with the bigger dubs on the motorways.

Going through all those problems and spending the money feels worth it when I get a grin ear to ear and that 4k rev sound hit me.

So if you're looking for a polo at a great price for the mods carried out on it then have a look in the sales section for mine. I've been the unlucy one thats alreasdy sorted out all the common (and expensive) problems so you don't have to.
