My Alloys and there big problems!!

Post by DF:FD »

Basicly i have some 16" i think called "diamond cuts" and i have had them about a year now maybe a year and a half and there in really good condition as you can see(you can also see how high my ride is lol(it needs to be lowered).

But then i was washing them today and i noticed on 1 of the alloys that there were some white "chip" marks on them but when you feel them there are no marks and as smooth as normal :? also there were some black spots on the dark edges so what i wanted to ask what cleaning products are really good and strong for these types of rims yet are safe. check out the pics and tell me what you think.

As York said, water has got under the laquer! I have this on two of my alloys, really quite bad! :( Not a lot you can do apart from try find somewhere that can diamond cut them again, not a lot of places do it as it requires turning them down on the lathe! Am thinks about gettin mine done either polished or shadow chrome.
