bike exhaust

hi i swapped 2 old pairs of trainers for two thirds of an exhaust system of a 2007 yamaha r1 with my mate so i got 2 end cans and a cat converter and was wondering if it was posible to replace my standard backbox with the end can and if the cats worth much money aswell?
