Getting Wheels Mirror Polished

How much is it normally to get a set of wheels mirror polished. They dont need refurbing as they are in perfect condition, i just want them reallly shiny

Also can any1 recommend or know any1 who does them around Nottingham?

Dunno about recommendations in your area, but your probably looking at about £45 a wheel.

I've rang around a couple of places n i dont think there is ne1 in nottingham that does it. One guy did say that its going to be expensive and in the region of £100+ a wheel!!!

Just bought some Porsche D90's - 16" with 195/45 tyres. They are 6J with offset of 52.3 and i know that i need to buy sum hub adapters to make these wheels fit but just need to know if 15mm would be good enough. Can sum1 plz confirm this.

They're skinny! I'd get 25mm mate. That would make the ET 27.3. 15mm with a 6j wheel would still have a fair amount of tuck.

Would 25mm not make the wheel stick out more than the arches? I dont want no scrubbing.

Lol i no they ar abit on the skinny side but it was either getting 6jz or 8jz..n im pretty sure 8jz would be tooo big.

nah i'd go with 25mm, and 165/50 tyres, with an offset of 27.3 theyll sit nicely and you shouldnt have much scrubbing at all.

im on 6js with 165/50s with 25mm adaptors making my ET19, and im down about 75mm. they only scrub if hit a bump whilst cornering really hard.

With those tyres still on wud 25mm still be alright or should i opt for the 20mm (plus they are cheaper)?

Would 8jz have fit the polo, cuz i used to have 6.5jz on and they just fitted, i get scrubbin on the front with them when i put it on full lock...its porbably cuz i got the a wider 195 tyres on.

you could've worked around 8s, seen alot of them on 6n2s before. plus being 16s they open up more tyre size variety.

umm would probably make a bit of a difference (195s i mean) i was having a conversation about this with someone else the otherday.

it's up to you really though. you know 165s on 25mms would work, depends if you want to risk them with 195s for abit until you get different tyres, or decide to go with 20mm and have a bit more tuck.

if you want to get 165s at some point, i'd go with 25mm.

if you plan to stick with 195s, browse around a bit and look at peoples stances to figure out whether you reckon you'll get away with 25mm or 20mm. i think 25mm would still be ok, but dont quote me (just making an educated guess)
