I want to get mine lowered too, but not by as much as yours, 50mm is way too much for me! ( at present)
I really would like to get rid of my body roll but have no idea of ride height at present. I was looking at weitec springs, cant afford coils at present.

but not sure which ones i would get. Got a 1.9 tdi sport. Want to keep standard shocks but be a tad lower, whilst keeping same tyres shocks etc. Anyone know what to do, ? 20 -15 or 30-30? arrgghghhhh, dont have a clue about lowering!!!!!

LOL join the club mate! i jus want the polo to sit nicely and thought 50mm sounds about rite!
like if i put 17's on her will she not be sitting higher? then the 50mm drop will have it perfect or is it too much?
or should i go 16's with like a 35-40mm drop?

and i dont have a clue about shocks lol

Well the beneift of such a site like this with such great members ;).
Hopefully they will have , well they will have the answers!!
Buyt yeh so much to think about and who knows where to start.
Im fed up with ride height and how much it damn well rolls round corners, supposedly came with sports suspension already, so mini stilts as apposed to the normal ride height LOL.
Im running 15's, and i think i would like to go 25-30mm, not too much but can see a difference, well i hope.
Dunno whether these or the weitecs would be of any use???

The eibach ones are for the gti mk7, the weitecs are for the mk6?? any difference??
Also what else is involved in adding lowered springs/coilovers? ANything to do with wheel alignment/tracking etc?
