What to watch for on 1.6
RIGHT. Cheque has come through from the insurance company, so I can crack on with getting a new dub! Going to have a look at a 1.6 GL tomorrow, anything in particular I should watch for other than the usual gremlins? Any tips greatly appreciated!

Just check the 6n common faults across the range. I don't think there's anything specificly common to the 1.6 for going wrong.
Good luck mate, if all else fails then mines also on sale lol. It's a 6n 16v fully modded though.

Rust on the archs is one thing ovbivously to look for, and the window motor. My 1.6 had both them problems to start with. Mine will be up for sale in october, if u havent got one by then.
