1.4 cyl-head replacement?

Is it possible to put swap an 8v head for 16v head?

Considering the 16V head has another 8 valves, im 99% sure you wont be able to.

get down to your loacal vw breakers and take a look at the underside of the heads too see if everything matches up or not> im pretty sure the general concensus is that it cant be done however i dont know if there was any substance behind the remark and i have no diea where i read that!


If you want more umph then consider a 1600 8v head on your 1.4 bottom end!

could you put a 1.4 or 1.6 8V head on a 1.0 8V?
