Interior Handles.
Interior Handles.
Hi , i wonder if any one could tell me where i can get some new interior handles from.?
Im after the "grab" handles that u pull to shut the door. I need some for the left and right front. The handles and "covers" are very badly scratched.
Thanks.

Re: Interior Handles.
just sand em down and respray them mate... the results can be a lot better than just getting new handles
Re: Interior Handles.
Aiiii, its best getting them sprayed as when you get the new ones they'll only do the same iam afraid
Re: Interior Handles.
Any pictures or instructions, on the best way to do this?, thanks.
Re: Interior Handles.
If you were to spray them though.
Wouldn't they start peeling the same as the original's?

Not if you sand them down first.
I'd just buy new ones though, I bought a new set for the front a few months after owning the car, and they're still going strong.

Re: Interior Handles.
have just done this. sanding them down wont look as good as they have a kind of rubber coating on them. replaced my driver side with genuine parts. £13 for the handle bit, and about £3-4 for the cover!
easy peasy to do, just pop off the cover, undo the screws. pull all the door card off and pull the silver bit to slide the door card off the door!

Was it a walk in and out jobbie, or did you have to order?

Walk in or phone up dude. You'll have to order them either way, because I doubt they'll have them in stock.
