Heater Motor Resistor

Hey guys I've got a manual heater/blower on my car. Yesterday settings 1,2 and 3 stopped working however setting 4 still works. After doing an online search I think it must be the heater motor resistor thats gone. Anyone know how to go about changing it, ie where is it exactly..

try sending yorks gt tdi in the mk7 section a pm I remember he had a thread going about the heater motor or try searching for it
