installing remote central locking - help needed

central locking eventually stopped working this week after getting slowly worse with the cold weather, decided to buy a remote cent locking kit, as the cent locking unit in the boot is still working ok.

i am awaiting delivery of a remote central locking kit for my polo mk5 from rclick.co.uk.
can anyone offer a more detailed description of the fitting procedure... do you wire straight into the existing cent locking control in the boot? if so which wires to which etc. how to you get into the cent locking control? what will i find in there?
anyone got any pics of the procedure?
any help will be appreciated, don't wanna pay daft money to an auto electrician if the procedure is simple.
