fitting rclick remote central locking. led?

Just fitting rclick remote central locking kit. following alex's great guide! and just come across an led.. what's it for? and is it needed?

The LED flashes when the car is locked

ok cheers. Where would be the best place to put it?

Mine is situated in the bottom right hand corner of the windscreen, stuck on the dashboard - but you can put it wherever you like!

Also putting it at the front will need to extend the cable from the RCL unit.

btw, the led is not needed. if you dont want it.

it was a bit of a ball ache but this is where mine is situated
