After looking at a number of options and talking to a local garage that are a milltek dealer i have come to two options, 1 is full milltek turbo back system the other is milltek downpipe and fi flow cat.
i was told that the main restriction is mostly in the standard downpipe and cat. Therefore replacing these two seemably key components would give me similar if not the same effects as a full exhaust minus the sound a full system gives. Having being quoted around £300+fitting for the downpipe and cat and £600+fitting for a turbo back system seems to speak for itself, IF the downpipe n cat replacement would give me what essentially the full system does!??
Any knowledge or first hand experience/advice would be muchly appreciated

Re: downpipe/cat
I chose to get a custom down pipe and de cat and left standard cat back before getting stage 2, then a few months down the line got a Milltek cat back put on and thats the way it is to this day
Really to you mate and what you can afford.
Re: downpipe/cat
well yeah i was also considering the financial aspect as i dont wana throw nearly 700 at it for the same results to come from 400odd. Did you find noticable improvements with downpipe and cat with stage 2 software?
