ok as most of you know i crashed big red back in september and have been driving around like this...

Image

... since september... WOOF !

right so i have just been given a quote for 700 big ones for the following work to be done

front bumper resmothed
front bumper resprayed red
all lower grills sprayed gloss black
badge sprayed in both black and red (i.e. front piece black and rear peice red)
main grill sprayed gloss black
interior heater surrounds sprayed gloss black... goodbye horrible silver :D lol
bonnet sprayed red
passenger side wing repaired (rusted and end tip is bent outa shape and also resprayed red
front splitter sprayed in gloss black
oh and my new bumper some prick must have tapped it with thier car and its cracked so that to be plastic welded and repaired too

think thats all, is 700 pound cheap or about going rate ?...
also peoples opinions are welcomed...

when all this is done my black angel eyes will be going in too :D

Dude, I've just had all the same work done (minus the internals and the grille), and it cost me 400?
I had:
Bonnet
Wing
Bumper
Door
Quarter panel!

I got one quote for 600, so i guess its not too bad.
The grille you can do yourself (that was the first thing i did when i got it back); and then the internals should be easy too, everything clips/torxs together..

My initial price was 350 though, but "paint cost more than expected.."

Good luck!

front washer jets are only a requirement for OEM fitted xenons - most MOT test places will pass HIDs providing the beam pattern is still clean and crisp in line with what a normal halogen bulb will output.

For peace of mind, I would put halogen bulbs back in for your test.

Oh sorry do you mean washer jets for the windscreen? I thought you were referring to the xenons

Thats a fail if you dont have washer jets - its a requirement that you are able to wash the windscreen for MOT. The jets are pennies from a dealer or ebay dude! And no they arent - 6ns mount on top of the bonnet, whereas 6n2s are mounted underneath, plus they are a twin jet as opposed to a fan on the 6n2s
