I got 1.4 8v open air 6n polo. And recently got annoying whistling high pitch noise coming from the engine compartment, when the engine reaches its working temperature. There is no noise in cold engine. The noise stays on idling, and when I accelerate it gets little louder. So I tried depressing clutch, same noise - not a cluch problem. After removing my alternator belt the whistling stays - not alternator or power steering prob. So left cambelt and all the parts related to it, that could make this noise. But I have changed cambelt, water pump and tensioner about 10k kilometers ago.
Engine runs fine. I want to find out where the fault is. Maby someone got similar problem, where it is , and can tell how to deal with it?

sounds like a vacuum leak possibly from the throttle body. Can you get a video with the sound on?
