Does anyone know if this type aerial will fit straight on??

go for the bee sting antenna mate, it looks loads better and leave the shark fins for the BMW :wink:

i just cut my original areal at the base it looks good and nope i havent lose reception from it... not that i ever use it lol

hehe ok I'll try the same diy method then :) the original antenna is annoyingly long! same here, I don not use the antenna much but I still want it to function. tks btw :wink:

I think the shark fins are rather neat. Seeing as 90% of all new audis are fitted with almost an identical one to that!

it says it fits the mk 4 polo and this is only the facelift version so i shouldnt see why it shouldnt be a straight fit

Should be a direct fit. I got one a few weeks ago as I thought mine was faulty but turns out the amplifier on it isnt working properly!

I got a stubby aerial last year but I think I might have to upgrade :)
