Stuck in gear

Hey guys,

Last night I was driving and the lights changed so I braked and I was trying to change out of 4th when I noticed it was stuck so just had to put the clutch in. Even when the car was stopped the gear knob wouldn't budge, it was rock solid, the clutch was in. I thought that was it, gearbox knackered but I tried still, gave it a few revs and may have let the clutch in a little bit (I know this used to sometimes happen in my MR2 when going from 1st to reverse, you'd have to let it bite and then then it would let the car change gear) and it came out. After that the car was fine, no problem at all, has anyone else had this problem and any ideas?

Sounds like the gear linkage mate, expect to pay around £100 for it all in
