Single front pad wear sensor ????

Hi all

I just bought a set of front pads from the vw dealer for my 2006 1.4tdi and was surprised to see that only one of the 4 pads in the set had a wear sensor.
I rang the dealer who located another identical set on the shelf which also only had the one sensor so it was assumed to be correct.

Does anyone know if this model only has a single wear sensor at the front?

That's correct there is only one sensor.

I can also confirm that - I seem to remember one on front O/S and one on rear O/S - as opposed to one front N/S and one front O/S.
