B-Pillar

Looking to get the gloss b pillar's for my gti 9n3, how easy / difficult are they to change? anyone got any tips?

Its a five minute job to do - put the window down, pull back the window rubber, undo the two phillips screws and remove the old. Fit the gloss pillar, put the window rubber back and admire :D

Costs about £40 from the stealers. Well worth it though, looks loads better than the standard b pillars IMO.

Thanks dude... do you have the part number for them? i thought they were an aftermarket product?

Cant find them anywhere online to purchase! my dad is service manager at a VW Dealership in Swansea so could deffinately get a set if i got a part number...

Anyone?

these are the part codes you need:

6Q3 837 901 G 041
6Q3 837 902 G 041

and the screw N 909 483 01

Can you get these for the 4 door?

Will you also be glossing up the little plastic bit the mirror is connected to?

Your best bet is the dealership parts department mate - thats where I got mine from. I think they were standard equipment on some of the 9N Polos.
Don't bother buying new screws for them, just use the ones holding the originals in place!

I believe you can, but I seem to remember it costing over £100 for the parts - you need two pillars for each rear door IIRC.
