Wiring a 4ch amp

Post by lowfoon »

What is the best way to wire a 4ch amp to all four speakers?
The best way I can think of is locating and cutting the wires at the back of the stereo...

Depends if you are going to change the wiring that goes to the speakers. Quickest option is to fly the new wires from the amp to where the back of the radio is and put an iso block plug on the wires, so the existing speaker plug will just connect no cutting required!

I thought having more connectors in the system would decrease quality. I ran the audio from the amp back up to the headunit, and cut the ISO block off, and soldered onto the original wiring!

It's just as neat, and I dont plan on selling the car on anyway!
