I've read some posts around the net that make me wodner if all Polos still have the 12V socket for a cigarette lighter. Not that I smoke, but do need the socket for a SatNav.
One post said that unless ordered specifically a cigarette lighter is not included any more - however is the live socket there on all models?
I am about to buy a 1.4S
12V socket

Re: 12V socket
I'm pretty sure that the 12V supply is standard equipment, I'd be surprised if it wasn't given sat navs/phone chargers etc all needing it.
I think a 12V supply in the boot was optional equipment though.

Re: 12V socket
my '06 build has one, it comes with a 'blank' lighter plug in the socket.
No issues.

Otherwise labeled "12V" - I've even retro fitted one of these covers to my 2000MY B5 Passat seeing as I stopped burning weeds a long time ago.noone025 wrote:my '06 build has one, it comes with a 'blank' lighter plug in the socket. No issues.
