NEED HELP WITH MY BUMPER!!!

firstly how do i take my bumper off???
and would a 94-00 gti bumper fit my polo??
i have a polo 1997 1.4cl

you can fit a 16v bumper from similar model ie yours is a polo 6n, however there is a gti in the 6n2 range and tht bumper needs some mods to fit properly and has bumpstrips aswell

open your boot and there is 4 bolts youll need to undo and also each arch has about 4 screws and on the underside i think there is 3, should be straight forward once you start undo-ing them

There isnt a GTI Mk4 (only in germany and has the same bumpers as the 16v) - youd be referring to the 16V

The 6n2 bumper will not fit at all unless you change the wings, front firewall, crossmember and various other bits...not to mention new bonnet, headlights, indicators etc

okay brilliant, wont get the gt bumper then.....

so how do i
a) get the front bumper off?
B) find the OE number??....
