Alex's MK3 Genesis Build Thread

Post by alexperkins »

Its about time I finally got some pictures up of my genesis!

Started off like this two years ago:

After its big clean today:

My new Scirocco GT2 Recaros :D The bolster had collapsed as they all do, so I got on the case of sorting it. Managed to get a brand new bolster foam that VW had sitting on the shelf in germany for 26 years! So now its as good as new :D

Image

My freshly refurbished BBS RAs, which I did myself - rather pleased with the result!

Some more shots:

Its had a huge amount of work done it:

G40 sills and arch trims
G40 late spec rear lights
Scirocco GT2 Seats
Late spec boot wall carpets
Original VW rubber mats
Red trim in the bumper
New VW longlife exhaust and a new center section
New exhaust repair panel and original rubbers
New battery

Very nice dude. Prefer the gti personally, but everyone loves something with a bit of history. :)

BBS Interlagos. They are the wheels that came on the Mk5 Colour Concept - rather rare to be fair! Still have them just not in use atm.

I'm intrested :?:

I will now google them.

What will you be destroying this winter then? Mk3 or GTi? I would hate to have either out around the south coast this winter!
