Problems with my starter motor

When I turn the key the engine cranks over ok, then starts. But once it's started I get sqeak/squealling type of noise. It only lasts a couple of seconds then it's gone. It doesn't seem to happen if the engines warm.

I think it may be the starter motor being slow to disengage from the engine, anybody else had this problem? Is it serviceable? Any ideas?

ive had this noise for over a year now. no problems encountered.
my noise is sort of a high pitch whining i dunno if you understand what i mean
