Polo 1.2 remap?

Another passing thought of mine

i opted for the 1.2 polo 60ps (bad call) which is unsurprisingly slow. After reading many reviews about how much better the 1.2 70ps is i was wondering what is the difference between these two engines for the extra 10ps.

and would a remap solve this?

no point to be honest. remaps work great on turbo charged vehicles. 1.2 is pretty slow and is a 3 pot engine. youd barely get any bhp out of it - 3- 5 if that i guess.

3 pot is irrelevant. But yes, not much gained by remapping a N/A engine.

Damn...i wouldn't mind being able to get up a full with a full car. As for now il just make my mates walk up hills and il meet them at the top haha!

Definitely opt for the 70ps, I drove a 60ps 55 plate 5dr for a year and now on a 70ps 52plate 3 door, NOTICEABLE difference!

6v vs 12v. The 6v ones are absolutely crap.

My friend has a '94 1 litre mk3 Polo (45 bhp), and she doesn't appear to take very good care of it...it doesn't even idle that well. That aside, I managed to beat someone in a Mk6 1.2 off the lights in it

I'd like to remap mine to stage one. It's a 1.2 TSI 90bhp seat Ibiza 2016 . Think that ll be worth it? Thanks
