17" GUNMETAL MONZA ALLOYS

I was wondering if i would need any modifications done to my polo 9n3 to fit those wheels, and what tyres i would need. I have a 2008 polo 1.2 with just the standard wheels on at the moment.

No modding needed, but would look a lot better if you put a set of lowering springs or coilovers on! I can't remember what tires I'm using but i think they are 215/40/17s.. Not 100% sure as my car is down south right now!

I have these exact wheels. 215/40/17 tyres fit perfect with a tiny bit of rub on full lock.
Waiting for my car to be lowered :)

Fit 195/40/17 tyres and you shouldn't have any rubbing

There's nothing to worry about at all. Its just the inside, its impossible to see.
I wouldnt really get anything lower than 215, if you accidentally curb the alloy it will be alot worse and probably ruin the alloy from one bump.
Also I bought the alloys from the same guy about 3 months ago and they are really good alloys, excellent gunmetal finish. Cheap as chips also
Thanks Dan

So 205 and 215's will fit, but 215's will be slightly wider which may make curbing them alot less easy? Cause in that case i will go for 215's if they fit.

will fit easily but at that price the quality will be crap (and thats probably a understatement) so if you live in a area with potholes i wouldnt bother as they will be square in a week.....
