Coming home lighting

Hey

i noticed the polo never had a coming home/leaving home lighting option on the configurator on the vw site.
Does it come as standard as i have yet to find it?

Sadly Auto lights/coming & leaving home function is not an option. This is one option I miss from the Golf Edition 30. I have seen the Audi A1 has this function on press pics so it may become an option in the future?

ah that sucks. i assumed by now they would be standard on most if not all VW's much like the Keyfob remote window closure feature.
Wonder if it could be added by vag com etc lol

I dont know about the light function my mate has vagcom so ill get him to check but with the windows if you want them to open just hold the unlock button down for a while and they will keep opening till you let go or are fully open and do the same for the lock button if they are open

Sweet that is pretty cool! will be useful for the summer, im prone to leaving my windows open haha!

Hope it can be vag com'd on, after all its a fairly simple function i guess

Pretty sure this can't be added like in say a Golf, as the coming home/ leaving home system relies on the external light sensor mounted on the windscreen behind the rear view mirror, that sadly the Polo doesn't have.

I too was pretty surprised and when I asked the dealer when I just ordered the wifes new Polo, couldn't understand that you could add a sensor pack, but it only consisted of auto dimming rear view mirror and auto wipers, not auto headlights ? Quite why VW took this decision I'll never know - even if it was an option rather than standard I think most people would take it.
