i am wanting to buy a 2000 polo 1.0
how hard is the conversion to a 1.6 gti engine?
any pics or threads

Its not worth it to be honest mate, lots of parts needed and it would literally work out cheaper to buy a GTI.
You can get a GTI for £1500 now
Remember it isnt just the engine you need, think about breaks, suspension, exhaust, gearbox etc etc
Lot of money, time and effort.
