My Polo GTi - Full Correction Detail

Post by Jeff GTi »

The car will be fully familiar to most of the old school members on here, more recently I have invested in some new materials so put them to good use on my polo over the last few days, total detail time - 22 hours of working time

Process
Wash using megs shampoo plus
Clayed with sonus green clay & megs last touch detailer spray
Washed again with megs shampoo plus
Dried using sonus der wunder drying towels

Machine polished using megs g220 & Menzerna intensive polish and final finish on megs polishing and finishing detailer range of pads
Glazed with Megs show car glaze using the g220
LSP = 3 coats of chemical guys xxx hardcore wax (47% natural brazilian unbleached carnauba wax 90% White 10% yellow)
Glass treated with carlack 2 stage glass treatments

Wheels removed and fully cleaned using bilberry wheel cleaner inside and out
Tyres degreased & cleaned with a stiff brush then treated with megs tyre treatment

Exhaust polished with solvol autosol metal polish

By the time I was done light was raising but here's a few photos to show the results

Top job youve done there jeff. Car looks gorgeous, as always. Can i just ask though, have you got a little filter on your oil breather pipe, or have you just tied it to the side of your airbox. Love those speedlines as well, very jelous 

Armrest is retrimmed to match my retrim and is an armster armrest

As for the breather pipe, I have fitted a small pipercross filter on the pipe to prevent debris going in to the engine
