Cracked windowscreen

Post by sonne »

Well i feel like a complete idiot as i cracked my windowscreen threw no fault but my own. I took my rear view mirror off and tried to put it on with a little to much force when the inevitable happend it cracked how the hell are you supposed to refit the mirror to the ball it just doesnt seem to fit in the hole. Also iv been quoted 3 ton from autoglass or 120 from a local glass fitter but wudnt have the vw stamp on it should i just go with the cheaper option as ill be paying by cash.

Do you not have windscreen cover on your insurance? A good brand such as pilkington will be fine.
