New Proud Polo Owner

Post by baggy176 »

Hi there, Please view photos... http://s1220.photobucket.com/albums/dd4 ... Dpolo2.jpg ... I'm new to all this forum buisness so bare with me :-) I'm 17 (NOT A BOY RACER), just passed my test and bought a 2006 Polo 1.2E in Olympic Blue. I dont really want to modd the car, just make it look a lot smarter. So far I've added front fogs (Didn't bother wiring them as I only wanted them to make the car look better), a chrome exhaust end so you can see the exhaust now (Added after photos were took) , blue led interior light & White side lights :) Further thoughts are: 16" RS6 Alloys, Rear window ( light tint), R32 Flat bottomed steering wheel, Remote Locking & Chrome or Honeycomb grill. Just wanted everyones opinions and ideas! Thanks, Luke !

Sounds good so far. Pretty much what I'm Hoping to do with my 1.2e. Question: how did you get the blue interior led? I want to change mine to all White! And also how do you install the central remote locking, the key entry SUCKS! Also what width you going on for the tyres? Keep it up! And thanks in advance for any help you can provide:p

Hi, Here's the link for a white interior light, same guy I bought my blue one from : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ULTRA-10-LED-INTE ... 518ffdd923 A bloke at my dad's work installs the remote locking for around £80 around the Yorkshire area, don't know how local you are... And the alloys I have ordered are 195/45/16 s :-)

lol im from west london so just a 'little' far :P thanks for the link!

ill probably look for a security shop to get the remote locking installed, but its a definite function i want.

as for your alloys, ive been to many shops wondering what width to get, and 195 seemed the best option. i've got a 1.2e too and was worried about any drag as i only have stock 165s at the moment! thanks alot for the clear up:)
