My Polo 6N2 Tdi

Post by umar-dub »

Hi all,

Just wanted to share some pictures of my car.

Not alone has been done to it apart from Angel eyes, K&N filter. Tints, L.E.D Number Plate lights, GTI Grille, Lower Red Trim (A Must Have)

Move the TDI badge to the other side for one :P

Lower it about 45mm

Possibly a change of wheels a nice stainless exhaust.

Looks great mate. How did you swap the standard bulbs out of the angel eyes? Is it awkward to do. I really want a set but the yellow rings let them down. If i knew how to change the LED's i'd def buy a set.

Looks very nice mate and the Angel eyes really suit it

What K&N Filter did you go for? was it just a replacement element?

thanks mate :) it was quite easy, you just got to have some patience and small fingers, theres a total of 20 l.e.ds to change (10 on each headlight) and the l.e.ds took me ages to find the right ones!! If you decide to buy them let me know ill talk you throuh how to change them :)

its not the induction kit type just the normal filter type. Was a right pain to change it as you have to take half the splitter of to access the air filter box from the bottom, of the car.. Very bad design

My bad for the delay of writing back...
I used some L.E.D's of ebay but they were CRAP!! After a months driving all of them had blown. So i went for the SMD LED's but they wouldn't fit as the SMD LED bit on the top of the bulb wouldn't fit in to the ring. So now need to go back to the stock bulbs as the L.E.D ones didnt last me that long :@

Heres the ones i used but i can tell you that you need some serious patience as it was a little tricky of getting these bulbs in. (These are the ones that didnt last me that long):

I have now gone for these but have not had the chance to fit them:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10-x-Blue-T-5 ... 863wt_1202

Remember you need a total of 20 bulbs. 10 on each headlight.
