You should not polish and not wax.. ?

I've made my own little list, it's here on the forum somewhere.

In addition, this guy and video is awesome; https://www.youtube*.com/watch?v=UaliWjVKwnA&feature=fvw

thanks joz, about the not waxing, i actually meant leaving out the extra gloss protection seeing as i'm adding wheel sealant anyway, but im just going to do it anyway. i should have made that clearer.

Clean the wheels every wash, that's important to keep them up to par. Then seal them every two months (or more if you feel like it)

Try and glaze every wash, keeps the holograms away.

Don't wax or polish without claying first. So incorporate that into every wax/polish routine, which as you said only needs doing 4 times a year or so.

when you say clean the wheels every wash, do you mean shampoo down and dry, or polish and gloss too?

and would you recommend stripping all the wax/polish off everytime i top it up or should i just keep layering it on?

Shampoo and dry should be sufficient, depends on your wheel finish (for example polished wheels watermark really easily so require polishing most washes).

You'll be lucky for wax or polish to last as long as 4 months if you wash it regulary, so just top it up.
