Greg's Polo GTI :) - Pictures of new Polo :)

Post by gregperkins »

It has been a very busy day with the GTI! First of all the MOT failing this morning..Looks quite nasty, but im sure good old Alex can fix it :D Took it down to a local garage to undo the bolts on the wishbone as they were over tightened previously.

I've spent the afternoon cleaning bits and pieces 8)

So far:

A good vacuum
Carboned the rear badge
'Get a life, get a VW' sticker
Added new mats
10" Edge Sub (From my Polo)
BMC Air Filter

Have a tow hook cover on the way for the rear :D

Have driven it to and from the MOT, and i was blown away with the acceleration and power..It is truly insane!

Sneaky pic in the MOT:

Tonights plan is to swap the bearing over, use a hydraulic press to make sure it's tight, then refit it back to the car. Fingers crossed it all goes to plan, and then it can be retested tomorrow and i can finally drive it!

Great news :D the GTI is all good and new :D went down to my mates dads metal factory and used a 2 tonne press to get the bearing in.

Going to ring up tomorrow at 7 to get a retest as soon as!

Heres a pic of the old one, absolutely buggered!
