The Polo handbook states that the headlights can be adjusted to use when driving either on the left or right of the road. However, it also states this should be done be a dealer. So what happens between the dealer making the change and the channel?? Likewise reverting??
Any idea how this is done?
Headlight dip for left or right side driving
Re: Headlight dip for left or right side driving
According to the manual, they change the actual levels of the lights (Xenon, by computer, halogen by screwdriver) then have to apply decals that change the refraction of the beam pattern out of the light.

Thanks. Sounds a bit of a waste of time then for a holiday trip, more for a permanent move.gavs wrote:According to the manual, they change the actual levels of the lights (Xenon, by computer, halogen by screwdriver) then have to apply decals that change the refraction of the beam pattern out of the light.
I never bother - like the rest of the continent - when driving in the UK to do anything about the headlights. I simply set the beams low...

Yup, waste of time. Last time I went over to France I didnt bother doing anything with my lights and as it turns out I never had to drive in the dark.Grey_Polo wrote:Thanks.
