I run vmaxx drop links and they only last about 6 months on average.
These look very similar tbh. I don't think any drop link will last that long.

Cheers josh. However gillen said iver on the droplinks thread that the vmax ones are too short? this true? On ap coilies

I know that on KW and Weitec coilovers (only two sets I've had on my GTI) the mounting bracket on the strut for the droplink is higher than on the standard unit. This compensates slightly for lowering your car, positioning the bracket at a similar height to the standard strut. If you use the v-maxx ones, you'll pull the ARB too high and it'll rip in to the inner wing...
I'd assume AP is the same as they're made by KW as are Weitec...
I have custom drop links on mine which are only slightly shorted that standards (about 15mm shorter iirc).
