Splitting Rear Badge tutorial

Recently i have sprayed my rear badge all black but now i am not too fussed,
i was wondering if anyone has a quick tutorial or can tell me how to seperate the background section of the badge from the vw part

Get the badge off and pull slowly, there are 2 silver dowels that push into backing, careful no to break those, if you do, just glue it back on
