Brakes behind 16s

Hi I am new to the site and I recently bought a 9n3 GTi (I'l post pics up later).

Can anyone tell me, what's the biggest/ best brakes to put behind a 16 inch wheel?

Don't hold me to it but I'm pretty sure I read that the biggest is the Audi tt 225 conversion kit 312mm?

Someone on here im sure will reply to confirm this

yip, true.
thats about the biggest yoy can go, TT225/S3 brakes 312mm (now you have 288mm)
