The last few mornings when I have been driving to school I have noticed that when I am sitting waiting in traffic my polo has a tendency to vibrate, almost like it is shivering in the cold mornings. At first I thought it was just my music being up too loud making the speakers vibrate but I had the radio off and it still is 'shivering.' It kinda feels like I'm sitting on the clutch just before the bite point but when this happens me my feet are not on any of the pedals :/
Anyone got any ideas of what is wrong or have experienced this either?

Re: 'Shivering Polo'
I never noticed it during the summer when it was warmer, just now in the mornings when it was 6 or 7 degrees. Whenever I'm driving home after school it seems fine though? Probably is just because the car is so cold in the mornings then?

Re: 'Shivering Polo'
I have spoken with a VW tech on this (one of the few I trust) and it is meant to be there. It has something to do with the pre-heaters for all the components that need warming up asap. There is also a "burn off" (for lack of a better description) stage which will also happen sometimes where the car will develop a lumpy idle at standstill for de-carbonising part of the exhaust system. To be honest, I kinda stopped paying attention:)

Yeah i mention to the Master Tech at my local VW dealer, incidently got to know him quite well over the last few months, Yeah that is one that is nothing to worry pretty much as described above so there is no need for me to repeat it!
