Oh My God!

Post by Dom. »

So I knew this worked with remote central locking vags (Mums Mk5 Golf), but I was unaware non remote central locking vags could do it.
So here I am, casually flicking through youtube vids and came across this.

Legged it downstairs in my boxers, into the garage, and thats where it happened.
Twisted the key, and held it.

Made my evening.

Its really good for if you switch engine off an jump out of the car and then notice the windows down. It just shows how VW consider these sorts of things whereas most other companies dont. I dont think it works with remote key fobs, just when you turn the key and hold it :D

6n2 wont do it off the remote, it must be possible to enable it.

Doesnt work with the key in the door either, I think some of my settings in vagcom might not be right though as the boot unlock button on my key does nothing as well.
