Turbo downpipe for 1.2TSI

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum, thought I'd join so I can ask a few silly questions as it suits me. I'm a member of VWWatercooled Australia (from Brisbane) and have flash red 77TSI with sports pack, lowered with H&R 25/40 springs and Whiteline swaybar with more mods to come.

While I wait for a tuner to come up with the comms protocols for the newer Siemens ECU platform that my car is apparently running, I'm on the search for an "off-the-shelf" turbo downpipe for the 1.2TSI. It's been a fruitless search to date (all I can find is cat-back exhausts), so I pose the question to my uk Polo-loving brethren, is anyone aware of any exhaust manufacturers who have developed such a beasty, or better yet acquired one? It's looking likely that I will need to get one custom-made here in Oz, however an imported off-the-shelf item would likely be cheaper.

To be fair mate, there's very little mods available for the 1.2 TSI. At the most, you'll find a Supersprint exhaust system and possibly an overpriced remap. Apart from those there's naff all else available

Yep that sounds really good, much better than my custom down pipe, high-flow cat and resonator, but I've left it stock from the resonator back. I was less concerned with sound and more after power gains, and I can definitely feel the difference. Totally worth doing, so much freer in the mid-range and top end, much less lag too. Wish it sounded that good though! Hopefully sometime soon someone can offer a tune for my particular ECU.
