Hello all!
I was wondering if anyone here has retrofitted a midline or highline DIS from a lowline and know of any companies that do it? I have found Hazzy Dayz Ltd @ http://vwcruise.com/ but it seems a bit pricey on what they qouted me. Has anyone else got any experience in this and how much it cost?

for simple retrofit items?
You will have to obtain a brand new uncoded (Virgin State) Midline or Highline DIS , as I have been informed that the DIS has to be coded online through the VW system so it can work with your car, so they can transfer the information from your old dash to the new dash.
VW dealer or specialist who can do online coding example Keys, ECU's etc can do this for you, I think VW charges between 1-2 labour for DIS coding.

Thats what I though myself....they offered me a midline DIS retrofit for 495 + vat = 594?I may have to investigate getting parts seperate and seeing if anyone can do it for me!

Hazzy Dayz are flexible on price. I have supplied my own parts which they have fitted for me, saving me quite a bit.

Did you get your parts from dealer?Where they expensive?I'm trying to source a midline display at least on the cheap!

Just another quick one if anyone might know....I spoke to hazzydayz about a DIS retro fit on my car and they informed me that they could only a upgrade to the midline display and not the highline like on a GTI?does anyone know why or how true this is?I've asked them but yet to receive a reply yet?
