Are you allowed to fit the 312mm front brake setup from an Audi TT Mk1 or Mk4 Golf 1.8T 180?

I have gone down pads only path at this stage, I have fitted Remsa pads, also looking at better brake fluid also. The remsa pads make a considerable difference over stock, my stock pads were toast withing a week of me picking up the car!
